Fabrick Collective is a social enterprise that sells donated, gently used children’s clothing in sizes 0-14: 30% of sales go to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa (EFSO) to fund improvements to their transitional housing for criminalized women. We also provide kids’ clothes to mothers who are clients of EFSO. We support the circular economy by making it easy to donate and purchase secondhand kids’ clothes, reducing our impact on the environment and our reliance on exploitative manufacturing practices of fast fashion brands.
.
As a former prisons researcher and board member of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa, I am committed to advocating for and supporting criminalized women. Safe and dignified housing is a foundational need, and this enterprise aims to provide unrestricted funds to purchase home goods and materials that make housing feel more like home: fresh bedding, paint, artwork, storage, and so on.
.

To be successful, this social enterprise depends on the collective effort of many people – to donate, to buy, and to share what we are doing. Join me in supporting E Fry Ottawa, while giving families a convenient way to shop secondhand for their kids.
.
If you’d like to donate your gently used kids’ clothing, send us an e-mail to arrange contactless pick-up! New items are uploaded to www.fabrickcollective.ca every Wednesday. Local delivery in Ottawa/Gatineau is $5 and flat-rate Canada-wide shipping is $15.
